A Graduate Perspective: Working in Education Recruitment & Getting Hired During a Pandemic
For most students, the prospect of leaving university and applying for graduate jobs is somewhat bittersweet. I for one was certainly ready to say goodbye to relentless essay deadlines and the depths of my overdraft, yet not quite ready to make the minor decision of what to do with the rest of my life.
Armed with a degree in English from the University of Bristol, an interest in the education sector, and a desire to ‘work with people’, I took to Google and discovered the world of education recruitment.

2020: Goodbye and Good Riddance
Covid-19 has decimated this year and you’ll be hard pressed to find anyone who has been untouched by it. Millions out of work, entire industries virtually destroyed and a death toll that is still rising. I am not sure I’ve even really processed the events of this year properly yet. To me it all still feels like I’m in the middle of a surreal dream or on the set of a dystopian drama.
