About the role

Our Nursery is seeking qualified and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Educators to join its team in Oxford.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing. The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated nursery team to provide high-quality care and engaging learning experiences for young children.

Essential qualification

Applicants must hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in a full and relevant, UK-recognised Early Years discipline.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care, support and learning opportunities for children.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.
  • Support children’s physical, social, emotional and communication development.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Observe, assess and record children’s progress.
  • Help maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive nursery environment.
  • Support children’s routines, independence and personal development.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursery team to deliver the Early Years curriculum.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies.
  • Contribute to the wider life and development of the setting.

About you

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Qualified to at least Level 3 in a full and relevant Early Years discipline.
  • Experienced in an Early Years, nursery or childcare setting.
  • Caring, nurturing and committed to children’s development.
  • Confident planning and supporting play-based learning.
  • Able to observe and assess children accurately.
  • A strong communicator and team player.
  • Organised, reliable and professional.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
  • Able to work 40 hours per week on a permanent basis.

  • Salary of £30,056 per annum.
