Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Lambeth – September Start

A welcoming and well-established primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their Early Years team from September. This is a full-time, term-time only position, working across both the school nursery provision and after school club.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurturing and enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about supporting young children’s development in a structured and engaging environment.

Role Details

  • Position: Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
  • Location: Lambeth, South London
  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Salary: £135 per day
  • Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting children aged 3–5 within the nursery setting
  • Assisting with planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional, and educational development
  • Supervising and engaging children during the after school club provision
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider school team

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (essential)
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • A proactive, caring, and adaptable approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
