Nursery Manager – Brand New Nursery Opening September 2026
Location: Bexley
Salary: £35,000 – £39,000 per annum

Are you an experienced and passionate early years professional ready to lead an exciting new setting from the ground up? We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to oversee the launch and ongoing success of a brand new nursery in Bexley, opening this September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the culture, standards, and environment of a new provision, ensuring high-quality care and education for children in their early years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring compliance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
  • Recruit, support, and develop a high-performing nursery team
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the local community
  • Manage budgets, occupancy levels, and overall nursery performance
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain outstanding standards of care and education

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or a related field (essential)
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role within an early years setting
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Passion for delivering high-quality early years education
