Location: Southwark, London
Salary: £35,724 (Term Time Only + 3 Weeks)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2026

A well-established and welcoming academy in Southwark is seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to lead the day-to-day running of the school office from September.

This is a key position within the school, overseeing administrative systems and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of front office services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the school office, ensuring high standards of administration and customer service
  • Oversee pupil data management, attendance, and reporting using SIMS
  • Line manage administrative staff and support their development
  • Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding procedures, and data protection regulations
  • Support the Senior Leadership Team with administrative and operational tasks
  • Manage school communications, including correspondence and internal systems

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have proven experience in an office management or senior administrative role within a school setting
  • Be confident and experienced in using SIMS (essential)
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Be able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Have a strong understanding of school systems, processes, and compliance requirements

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
