Admissions Officer
Location: Southwark, London
Salary: £28,470 per annum
Start Date: September 2026

An inclusive and forward-thinking academy in Southwark is seeking a highly organised and proactive Admissions Officer to join their administrative team from September.

This is a key role within the school, responsible for managing the end-to-end admissions process and ensuring a positive experience for prospective students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of student admissions, including applications, offers, and enrolment
  • Act as the main point of contact for admissions enquiries from parents and carers
  • Maintain accurate pupil records in line with GDPR and school policies
  • Coordinate school tours, open events, and transition activities
  • Liaise with senior leaders and local authorities regarding admissions criteria and placements
  • Support wider administrative functions where required

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have previous experience in an administrative or admissions role, ideally within education
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Be confident managing data and using school systems or databases
  • Be approachable, professional, and committed to delivering excellent customer service
  • Have a strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
