PPA Cover Teacher

A welcoming primary school in Brent is seeking a reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic PPA Cover Teacher to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident teacher who enjoys working across the primary age range and delivering engaging lessons in a supportive school environment.

The successful candidate will play an important role in covering PPA time across the school, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high standards of teaching, behaviour, and pupil engagement. This role would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT with strong classroom presence and a flexible approach.

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across a range of primary year groups.
  • Cover teacher PPA time across the school.
  • Follow planned lessons and adapt where needed to meet pupil needs.
  • Create a positive and purposeful learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and consistently.
  • Support pupils’ academic progress and engagement.
  • Work closely with class teachers and leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day delivery.

  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Confident delivering lessons across different year groups.
