About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Electrical Tutor & Assessor to join a friendly, vibrant, and supportive team in Cambridge. In this role, you will deliver engaging vocational training, hands-on instruction, and learner assessments to a wide range of students, helping them build successful careers in the electrical industry.

No prior teaching experience? No problem — full training and development will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional, engaging electrical training and practical workshops
  • Assess student performance and support learner development
  • Guide students toward industry success through expert mentoring
  • Manage your own timetable effectively
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated training team
  • Participate in staff development and ongoing professional training

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Fully qualified Domestic Level 3 Electrician
  • Minimum of 5 years’ electrical industry experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
  • Solid English, Maths, and ICT abilities
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Team player with a proactive attitude
  • Willingness to attend staff training and professional development courses

Desirable Qualifications (Training Available)

  • Assessor qualification
  • Teaching qualification
  • 18th Edition
  • Inspection & Testing qualifications
