A highly regarded and forward-thinking primary school in the London Borough of Newham is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.

The Role

  • Full-time Reception class teacher within a well-established EYFS setting
  • Planning and delivering creative, engaging, and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, ensuring all children are supported and challenged
  • Working closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to promote positive outcomes for all learners

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Has experience teaching within EYFS, ideally in a Reception setting
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and early child development
  • Is creative, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is passionate about making a positive impact in early education
