Teacher of Science
Location: Hertfordshire
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

We are currently working with a well-regarded secondary school in Hertfordshire to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join their team from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking Science department within a school that is committed to delivering high-quality education and strong student outcomes. The school offers a collaborative environment where staff are encouraged to develop and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Teach your specialism (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) as part of a wider Science curriculum
  • Monitor, assess, and support student progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in a Science-related subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
