PE Teacher
Location: Hertfordshire
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and motivated PE Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Hertfordshire from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and energetic department that is passionate about promoting physical education, teamwork, and student wellbeing. The school has a strong sporting ethos and encourages participation and achievement at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Inspire students to develop a lifelong interest in physical activity and sport
  • Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Contribute to the school’s extracurricular sports programme
  • Support whole-school initiatives around health and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in Physical Education or a related subject
  • Experience teaching PE in a secondary setting
  • Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
  • The ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
