Maths Teacher
Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Southend-on-Sea seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking department. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives
  • Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
