We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward‑thinking part time Lecturer in Workshop Engineering for 30 hours per week to join our dynamic Engineering Department. What you’ll be doing
You’ll play a central role in delivering high‑quality teaching across Levels 2–5, working with full‑time students, part‑time learners, and apprentices. Your teaching will primarily focus on workshop‑based engineering skills, but you’ll also contribute to a broader curriculum that prepares learners for real‑world industry demands.

This teaching role and course is eligible for levelling up premium payments you could qualify to receive an extra payment of up to £6,000 per year, after tax. This payment is separate from teachers’ pay.
Qualifications:
· Degree in Engineering or HND in Engineering or Equivalent trade qualifications such as Full apprenticeship/NVQ
Experience:
· Extensive relevant experience working in the Engineering industry
· General engineering practical skills in a technical field of engineering related to the skills and knowledge section below
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
· Mechanical Engineering - Workshop practices
· Current Health & Safety knowledge related to the engineering Industry
· Good interpersonal, administrative and communication skills
· Organised and able to meet deadlines
· Competent use of Micro soft Office and other software packages related to the trades such as Automation Studio or similar
The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
