A well-regarded academy in Hertfordshire is seeking a passionate and energetic PE Teacher to join its team from September on a maternity cover basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, while contributing to a vibrant and inclusive PE department.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic practitioner with strong subject knowledge and a genuine commitment to promoting health, fitness, teamwork and participation. You will be joining a supportive academy environment where staff are encouraged to collaborate, share good practice and help students achieve their full potential.

The role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging PE lessons that motivate students of all abilities. The role will involve supporting both curriculum PE and extracurricular sport, helping to create a positive culture around physical activity and wellbeing. A willingness to contribute to school sport, fixtures and wider enrichment would be highly valued.
