Experienced Nursery Teacher (QTS) – Full-Time | Newham / Canning Town | June 2026 Start

A welcoming and vibrant primary school in Newham / Canning Town is seeking an experienced Nursery Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join their dedicated Early Years team on a full-time basis from June 2026 until January 2027, or to cover a maternity leave position.

The Role:

• Full-time Nursery Teacher position
• Start date: June 2026
• Contract until January 2027 or maternity cover
• Based in a supportive primary school in Newham / Canning Town
• Deliver engaging, creative, and development-focused lessons
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and leadership team

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Proven experience teaching within Nursery / Early Years
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Passion for supporting children’s development
• Dedicated, reliable, and enthusiastic approach
