Personal Care Assistants (Multiple Roles)
Location: Hayes – New SEN Campus
Start Date: September
Contract: Full Time | Permanent | Term Time Only
Hours: 36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Working Hours: 8:45am – 4:30pm

Salary: £23,874 – £24,572

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for multiple Personal Care Assistants to join a brand-new SEN campus in Hayes. This is a rewarding role supporting students with a wide range of additional needs, helping them to access education, develop independence, and maintain their health and wellbeing.

You will play a vital role as part of a dedicated Learning Support team, providing high-quality personal care and support tailored to individual student needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care support including hygiene, toileting, feeding, and dressing
  • Support students with medical needs, including administering or prompting medication
  • Assist with mobility, including use of wheelchairs, walkers, and hoisting equipment
  • Help implement individual care plans and support programmes
  • Promote student independence, dignity, and wellbeing
  • Build positive, professional relationships and provide emotional support
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
  • Record and report changes in student condition or behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties and/or disabilities
  • Knowledge of personal care, safeguarding, and health & safety practices
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, flexible, and compassionate approach
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and appropriate boundaries

Desirable:

  • Training in manual handling, medication administration, or specialist SEN support
  • Experience working with complex needs
