Are you an experienced and passionate SENCO ready to take on a rewarding interim role? Clarus Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets seeking a dedicated SENCO to cover a maternity leave from ASAP until January 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled SENCO to lead SEND provision, support staff, and ensure every child receives the tailored support they need to thrive.

What You’ll Do as SENCO

• Lead and manage SEND provision across the school
• Oversee EHCPs, ensuring effective implementation and review
• Work closely with teachers to support high-quality inclusive teaching
• Liaise with parents, external agencies, and the local authority
• Monitor progress of pupils with SEND and drive improved outcomes
• Support staff training and development in SEND best practice

Who We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or working towards
• Proven experience as a SENCO within a UK primary school
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, EHCP processes, and inclusion strategies
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A passionate and organised SENCO committed to improving outcomes for all pupils
