Lecturers – Maths & Functional Skills – Uxbridge

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Lecturers in Maths and Functional Skills to join a forward-thinking further education provider in Uxbridge. These are permanent positions, with one full-time role and one part-time role (20 hours per week) available.

About the role

  • Deliver engaging Maths and Functional Skills lessons across a range of levels
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements
  • Support learners to achieve and progress in their studies
  • Monitor student performance and implement strategies to improve outcomes
  • Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning

Salary & Benefits

  • £33,429 - £46,618 per annum (pro rata for part-time role)

Who we are looking for

  • Fully qualified teacher or lecturer (essential)
  • Experience teaching Maths and/or Functional Skills
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to engage learners of varying abilities
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality education and student success
