Contract: Full-time, long-term
Salary: £90–£110 per day (depending on experience)

A welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Tower Hamlets is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team after Easter.

The Role

You’ll be working closely with pupils who are at the early stages of communication and social interaction, including children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The role involves supporting their learning and development through tailored 1:1 and small-group support, using structured routines and communication strategies to help them engage with the curriculum and build confidence.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience supporting children with ASD or communication difficulties
  • Patient, compassionate, and able to build trusting relationships with pupils
  • Creative in finding ways to motivate and engage children who learn differently
  • A team player who works well with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists
  • Graduates who are aspiring to become teachers or educational psychologists are strongly encouraged to apply
