Nursery Manager – Private Nursery Onsite at Mainstream Primary School

A brand-new private nursery based onsite at a mainstream primary school in Bexley, South-East London is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager. This is a full-time, permanent role starting in September 2026.

About the role

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the new nursery, ensuring high-quality early years provision
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, and scheduling
  • Maintain compliance with Ofsted requirements and health & safety standards
  • Develop and implement the curriculum in line with EYFS standards
  • Recruit, train, and support nursery staff
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and the school community
  • Monitor and report on children’s progress and development

Who we are looking for

  • Qualified Nursery Manager (Level 3 or above in Early Years Leadership)
  • Proven experience managing a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted standards
  • Excellent communication and team management skills
  • Passionate about early years education and child development
