SEN Teaching Assistant

Our Primary School in Bexley, South-East London is now recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis starting in May 2026.

About the role

  • Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support
  • Assist with behaviour management and engagement in learning
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional and academic development
  • Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment

Salary & Benefits

Who we are looking for

  • Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role (essential)
  • Experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD or SEMH
  • Patient, resilient and caring approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Good understanding of safeguarding
