Bricklaying & Multi-Skills Lecturer (Temporary – Immediate Start)
Location: Cambridge
Start Date: 14th April 2026
Pay Rate: £25 – £30 per hour (depending on experience)

We are currently seeking an experienced Bricklaying and Multi-Skills Lecturer to join a further education college in Cambridge on a temporary basis, starting Monday 14th April. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to deliver high-quality teaching and support to the next generation of tradespeople.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and practical lessons across Bricklaying and Multi-Skills subjects
  • Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and workshop management
  • Ensure a safe and effective learning environment in line with college and industry standards

Essential Requirements

  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent)
  • Up-to-date IQA award (Internal Quality Assurance)
  • Strong occupational background in Bricklaying and related construction trades
  • Recent teaching or training experience within FE or vocational education
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
