This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate PE Teacher / Physical Education Specialist who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring students across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5. The school is looking for a motivated professional who can promote physical fitness, teamwork, resilience, and student wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities – PE Teacher

As a Secondary PE Teacher, you will:

·        Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons (KS3, KS4 & KS5)

·        Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the UK National Curriculum

·        Support student progress and attainment in core PE, GCSE PE & A-Level PE  

·        Promote healthy lifestyles, physical activity, and sports participation

·        Manage behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment

·        Contribute to extracurricular activities, school sports clubs, and fixtures

·        Work collaboratively within a PE department and wider school team

·        Support whole-school initiatives focused on student wellbeing and enrichment

Person Specification – PE Teacher

The ideal candidate will:

·        Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

·        Have proven experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school

·        Demonstrate strong classroom management and behaviour management skills

·        Be confident teaching a variety of sports, fitness, and physical activities

·        Show a commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and student development

·        Be enthusiastic, organised, and a positive role model for young people
