We are working with a nationally recognised nursery group to recruit a confident and capable Deputy Nursery Manager for a newly refurbished setting in Penrith. This role is ideal for a proven leader who is passionate about Early Years education and ready to play a key role in driving standards, supporting staff, and delivering exceptional outcomes for children.

About the Role

As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will:

• Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day leadership of the nursery
• Lead by example, maintaining outstanding standards of care and education
• Oversee staff performance, coaching, and development
• Ensure full compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
• Build strong, professional relationships with parents and external partners
• Support occupancy growth and continuous improvement across the setting

The Ideal Candidate

You will be:

• An experienced Deputy Nursery Manager (or equivalent senior role)
• Level 3 qualified or above in Early Years
• Confident in leading teams and managing operational responsibilities
• Highly knowledgeable in EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted frameworks
• Passionate about delivering exceptional childcare and early education
• Organised, proactive, and driven to achieve outstanding standards
