The Role

As a Year 3 Teacher, you’ll help pupils transition confidently into Key Stage 2, building on their foundational skills and encouraging curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. You’ll create engaging lessons that challenge and support all learners, working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an exciting and well-balanced curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inspiring lessons that bring the Key Stage 2 curriculum to life.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all abilities within the class.
• Assess, track, and record pupil progress accurately to inform planning.
• Foster a positive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, year group colleagues, and parents to ensure strong progress and wellbeing.
• Contribute to the wider school community through enrichment activities and shared initiatives.

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching within primary education.
• A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• A creative approach to lesson planning and classroom management.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Committed to continuous professional development and high standards of teaching.
