Days: 3 days per week (Monday–Wednesday preferred, negotiable)

Are you an experienced ELSA-trained Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity in a friendly and supportive primary school? We are seeking a skilled and compassionate TA to join a vibrant primary school in Haringey, working closely with children in Year 4 to support their emotional wellbeing and learning.

About the Role

• Provide 1:1 emotional literacy support to pupils identified as benefiting from ELSA intervention.
• Deliver group ELSA sessions for a small group of Year 4 children, focusing on social skills, resilience, confidence, and emotional regulation.
• Work collaboratively with the school’s SENCO, class teachers, and pastoral team to plan, deliver, and review sessions.
• Maintain an encouraging, patient, and child-centred approach that fosters emotional development and self-esteem.

About You

• Must be ELSA trained with proven experience delivering emotional literacy programmes.
• Experience working in a primary school setting (KS2 preferred).
• Confident in supporting children on both a 1:1 and small group basis.
• Empathetic, proactive, and excellent at building trust and rapport with young learners.
• Able to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
