Clarus Education is working in partnership with a welcoming, ambitious and well-led primary school in Bexleyheath to recruit an experienced and highly effective Year 4 Teacher for a full-time position starting May 2026.

The Role – Year 4 Teacher

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will:

• Deliver consistently high-quality teaching across the Year 4 curriculum
• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote excellent pupil progress
• Establish strong behaviour for learning and maintain a positive classroom environment
• Use assessment effectively to inform planning and accelerate pupil outcomes
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure curriculum continuity and progression
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school community

This is a full-time classroom teaching role, with full responsibility for delivering strong outcomes for all pupils within your class.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Year 4 Teacher will be an experienced and qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven track record within Key Stage 2.

You will:

• Have strong experience teaching within KS2 (ideally Year 4 or similar)
• Be an inclusive teacher with high expectations for all learners
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies
• Show a clear commitment to inclusion, equality and pupil wellbeing
• Be organised, reflective and proactive in your approach
• Be passionate about supporting everya child to achieve their full potential
