EYFS Teaching Assistant – Primary School, Wandsworth
Location: Wandsworth, South West London
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Pay: £95–£110 per day (depending on experience)

A welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Wandsworth is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children in the very first stage of their learning journey.

The Role:

  • Work within a nurturing Reception and Nursery setting supporting children aged 3–5.
  • Assist with play-based learning activities that develop communication, social skills, and early literacy.
  • Support pupils with varying needs, ensuring every child feels included and valued.
  • Help create a stimulating, safe, and joyful classroom environment.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and other EYFS staff to deliver the EYFS curriculum.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced in Early Years or EYFS settings (Reception/Nursery).
  • Knowledgeable of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
  • Warm, patient, and enthusiastic — with a genuine love for working with young children.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and committed to helping children thrive academically and emotionally.
