Experienced Teaching Assistant (Key Stage 1)
Location: Wandsworth, South West London
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term, full-time
Pay: £95–£110 per day (depending on experience)

A welcoming Primary School in Wandsworth is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support across Year 1 and Year 2. This is a brilliant opportunity for a confident, proactive TA eager to make a real impact within a warm, community-focused KS1 team.

About the Role:

  • Provide hands-on classroom support across both Year 1 and Year 2.
  • Deliver small group interventions in phonics, reading, and early maths.
  • Support the class teacher in creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
  • Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.
  • Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment where needed.

  • A passionate Teaching Assistant with solid experience in Key Stage 1.
  • Good understanding of phonics and early literacy development.
