1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Reception Class | Westminster
Start: ASAP | Contract: Long-term | Pay: £100 –£110 per day (experience dependent)

Are you passionate about giving every child the best possible start in education?
A friendly and inclusive Primary School in Westminster is searching for a caring and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Reception class and provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs.

This is a long-term role, starting as soon as possible, and would suit someone who loves early years education and understands how important patience, structure, and encouragement are at this stage.

·       Your Day-to-Day:
Supporting a Reception pupil with communication and social development.
Encouraging participation through creative play, group work, and sensory activities.
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to adapt lessons to the child’s individual needs.
Helping build confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

You’ll Need:

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEND (autism, speech and language, or social communication needs).
  • A nurturing, calm, and positive approach to early years learning.
  • The ability to engage and connect with young learners through play-based learning.
  • Availability for a full-timelong-term role starting ASAP.
