Senior SEN Teaching Assistant – ARP (Primary School, Brent)
Start Date: April 2026
Contract: Long-term (April to July 2026, with potential to continue)
Location: Brent, North West London
Pay Rate: £115 per day (depending on experience)

A welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Brent is launching a brand-new Additional Resource Provision (ARP) this April and is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to play a key role in shaping and running this exciting new provision.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, skilled, and proactive SEND professional looking to make a long-term impact within a growing inclusion team.

The Role:

  • Take a lead support role in establishing the ARP environment and routines.
  • Work alongside the SENCo and senior leadership to deliver the highest standards of support.
  • Provide targeted 1:1 and small group interventions for pupils with complex needs (ASD, SEMH, speech and language, or global delay).
  • Model best practice and support less experienced TAs within the team.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and outside professionals.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Extensive experience working with pupils with SEND, ideally within a specialist or ARP setting.
  • Strong understanding of EHCPs and differentiated support strategies.
  • Confident, calm, and flexible, with a genuine passion for inclusive education.
  • Available for a long-term commitment from April through to July 2026, with potential for extension in September.
