SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Start: April 2026
Contract: Long-term (April to July 2026)
Pay: £100 – £110 per day
Location: Brent, North West London

We’re working with an inclusive Primary School in Brent preparing to open a brand-new Additional Resource Provision (ARP) this April. The school is seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join the founding team and help shape this exciting new setting.

About the School:

  • Forward-thinking, inclusive, and community-focused.
  • Dedicated to supporting pupils with a range of additional and complex learning needs.
  • Opening a new ARP to provide targeted support for pupils with EHCPs.

The Role:

  • Support pupils with a variety of special educational needs (ASD, communication needs, SEMH).
  • Work closely with the SENCo and class teachers to deliver tailored learning support.
  • Promote independence, communication, and confidence in all pupils.
  • Help create an engaging, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.

You Will Need:

  • Proven experience supporting children with SEND in a primary school setting.
  • A patient, proactive approach and excellent communication skills.
  • Confidence working both 1:1 and in small groups.
  • Commitment to the role from April to July 2026 (with the possibility of extension).
