1:1 Support | Small Group Intervention | Long-Term Roles

Clarus Education is currently recruiting experienced SEN Specialists to work across both mainstream and specialist SEN schools in Newham. These roles may involve supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or within small group settings, depending on school needs.

We are seeking experienced and committed professionals who are passionate about supporting children with a range of additional needs, including Autism, SEMH, and learning difficulties.

Due to the nature of these placements and the importance of continuity for pupils, many of these positions often develop into longer-term or permanent opportunities.

We Are Looking For:

Experienced Teachers:
• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience supporting pupils with SEN
• Confident delivering adapted learning for 1:1 or small groups
• Strong understanding of behaviour strategies and inclusion
• Experience working within mainstream or SEN settings

Experienced Teaching Assistants:
• Must have previous experience in a similar SEN role
• Experience supporting children 1:1 or in small group interventions
• Confident with behaviour support and de-escalation strategies
• Understanding of SEN approaches within school environments
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs

The Role May Include:

• Supporting pupils on an individual basis (1:1)
• Delivering small group interventions
• Assisting with behaviour management strategies
• Supporting pupils with EHCP targets
• Working within mainstream classrooms or dedicated SEN provisions
• Helping pupils access learning and build confidence
