Clarus Education is currently recruiting reliable and enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Lewisham. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced teachers and ECTs looking for flexible work while continuing to make a positive impact in the classroom.
We are seeking confident Primary Supply Teachers who have proven experience teaching within a UK primary school and who hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will step into classrooms to deliver high-quality teaching, maintain strong behaviour management, and ensure pupils continue their learning in a positive and structured environment.
The Role – Primary Supply Teacher
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will:
• Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 using pre-prepared plans
• Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school settings
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
• Ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher
• Follow school policies and procedures
• Create a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Work on both same-day bookings and pre-arranged supply roles
Requirements
The successful Primary Supply Teacher will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have proven experience teaching in a UK primary school
• Be confident teaching across the primary age range
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be adaptable, reliable and professional
• Be able to travel to schools across Lewisham
• ECTs are welcome to apply
