Electrical Tutor – Training Provider, St Ives

Location: St Ives
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: £38,000 - £41,500

Are you a qualified electrician thinking about your next step? This is your chance to move off the tools and share your knowledge with the next generation of electricians.

A leading training provider in St Ives is on the lookout for a hands-on, motivated tradesperson to join their team as an Electrical Tutor. You don’t need teaching experience — just solid on-site know-how, a Level 3 Electrical qualification, and a passion for guiding others.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Teaching and training learners through practical and theory sessions
  • Sharing your experience to help trainees gain their electrical qualifications
  • Preparing lessons, demonstrations, and practical tasks
  • Supporting learners through assessments and coursework
  • Ensuring safe, professional practice in all workshop and classroom activities

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • Industry experience as an electrician — ideally with current or recent site work
  • Confident communicator who enjoys helping others learn
  • Teaching qualifications are not required — full training will be provided

What’s on Offer

  • Full support to become a qualified tutor/assessor
  • A secure, long-term role with regular hours and no site travel
  • Great work-life balance and ongoing career development
  • The opportunity to use your skills to make a real difference

If you’re ready to swap callouts and site work for a stable, rewarding position — while staying connected to the trade — this could be the perfect move for you.
