The Role – Primary Class Teacher
As a Primary Class Teacher, you will:
• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment with high expectations
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes
• Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners
• Establish clear behaviour routines and maintain excellent classroom management
• Work collaboratively with year group partners and senior leaders
• Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment opportunities
The year group can be tailored to your strengths across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
The Ideal Primary Class Teacher
The successful Primary Class Teacher will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge
• Be reflective, organised and proactive
• Show commitment to inclusion and pupil wellbeing
• Have high expectations for achievement and behaviour
• Be able to provide recent references covering employment history
