SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Barnet

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for helping young learners reach their full potential? A thriving Barnet primary school is looking for a dedicated professional to start immediately, providing essential support to children with additional needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Work 1-to-1 and in small groups with pupils in KS1 and KS2 who have Autism, ADHD, emotional/behavioural needs, or Speech & Language difficulties
  • Deliver tailored interventions in literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills
  • Adapt teaching resources and activities to suit each child’s learning style and needs
  • Support pupils’ independence, confidence, and engagement in all areas of school life
  • Collaborate closely with the SENCo, class teachers, and outside professionals to monitor progress and set realistic targets

Pay: £95–£120 per day, term-time only, paid weekly or monthly
