A friendly, inclusive primary school in North London is looking to welcome a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant into their specialist classroom within the school. The Role
As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will be part of a highly committed SEND team, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs through personalised, structured activities. You will help develop early learning skills, communication, sensory awareness, and emotional regulation, ensuring each child feels safe, understood, and ready to engage.
Your day could include guiding small-group learning, supporting 1:1 interventions, facilitating sensory breaks, or calmly helping children work through moments of dysregulation. Creativity, patience, and strong behaviour management are essential as you work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCo.
