Lecturer in Hairdressing – Full Time (Temporary)

Location: Cambridge
Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Temporary, Full-time (37 hours per week)
Working Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lecturer in Hairdressing to join our client college’s Hair & Beauty department on a temporary full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified professional to deliver high-quality teaching and assessment to enthusiastic learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess Hairdressing courses across Levels 1–3
  • Provide classroom and salon-based teaching, demonstrations, and practical sessions
  • Support learners to achieve their qualifications and reach their full potential
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and ensure compliance with awarding body standards

Essential Requirements:

  • Level 2 and Level 3 Hairdressing qualifications
  • Assessor qualification (e.g. A1, TAQA, or equivalent)
  • Recent FE teaching or training experience
  • Up-to-date industry knowledge and practical expertise
  • Availability to start next week with all compliance documentation in place
