Clarus Education is proud to be supporting a forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in Greenwich in their search for a skilled and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their team from May 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Key Stage 2 practitioner who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations, and ensuring every child achieves strong academic progress within a nurturing school environment.

The Role

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and well-paced lessons across the full Year 4 curriculum
• Plan creative and structured learning experiences that drive measurable progress
• Establish high expectations for behaviour and learning within the classroom
• Use assessment data effectively to inform planning and raise attainment
• Work collaboratively with the wider KS2 team to ensure progression and consistency
• Contribute positively to the wider school community

This is a full-time teaching position with full class responsibility, focused on achieving excellent outcomes for all pupils.

Person Specification

The successful Year 4 Teacher must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrate strong Key Stage 2 experience.

You will:

• Have proven experience teaching within KS2 (Year 4 experience desirable)
• Be an inclusive practitioner with high expectations for all learners
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be committed to inclusion, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing
• Show excellent organisational skills and a reflective approach to teaching
• Be passionate about supporting pupils to reach their full academic and personal potential
