Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time, long-term opportunity within a supportive primary school? Do you have a strong background supporting children with additional needs and want to make a genuine impact every day?

Clarus Education is currently recruiting 2 x SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lewisham. These are full-time, long-term positions starting ASAP, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm (term time only).

The school is seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants who are confident supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, speech & language needs, and SEMH.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

· Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
· Support children across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (depending on experience)
· Deliver targeted interventions to support academic and social development
· Implement behaviour management strategies consistently
· Work closely with class teachers, SENCO, and external professionals
· Support children with EHCPs and contribute to progress tracking
· Create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will:

· Have previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant within a UK primary school
· Be confident supporting children with a range of additional needs
· Be proactive, patient, and resilient
· Have strong communication and teamwork skills
· Be able to commit to a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP
