Clarus Education is recruiting a dedicated Year 2–Year 6 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a busy Additional Resource Provision (ARP) in Lewisham. This is a long-term, full-time role, available immediately, supporting a small class of 6 children. The role includes working in breakout rooms for children who need extra support, providing specialist SEN interventions, and assisting with both academic and social-emotional development.

In this role as a SEN Teaching Assistant in the Additional Resource Provision (ARP), you will:

· Support a small group of 6 children from Year 2 to Year 6 in an Additional Resource Provision (ARP)
· Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with Autism and SEN needs
· Deliver personalised learning activities and interventions tailored to each child’s needs as a Year 2–Year 6 SEN Teaching Assistant
· Support children in breakout rooms for additional focus, sensory breaks, or intervention sessions
· Work closely with class teachers, SENCO, and the Additional Resource Provision (ARP) team to create a structured, safe, and nurturing environment
· Assist with behaviour management, social-emotional support, and promoting independence for children with Autism
· Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress as a key member of the Additional Resource Provision (ARP) team

The ideal candidate:

· Experienced as a SEN Teaching Assistant, ideally in an Additional Resource Provision (ARP) or Autism-focused provision
· Skilled in supporting children with Autism and SEN needs from Year 2 to Year 6
· Confident using interventions, breakout rooms, and structured support for children with SEMH needs
· Able to support learning, behaviour management, and social-emotional development effectively
· Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
· Professional, patient, and committed to supporting children’s individual needs
· Available to start immediately
