Are you an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant with a proven track record supporting children with challenging behaviour? Do you thrive working 1:1 with pupils, using specialist strategies to support their social, emotional, and academic development? If so, Clarus Education has a long-term, full-time opportunity for you in a primary school in Redbridge.

This role is perfect for someone who has worked in a similar SEMH-focused 1:1 position, understands high-needs behaviour, and is confident in applying de-escalation and personalised intervention strategies to help children engage and succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide 1:1 support to a Year 3 pupil with SEMH needs, including behaviour regulation and emotional support
· Implement individualised learning plans and targeted interventions for academic, social, and emotional progress
· Use evidence-based behaviour management and de-escalation strategies to support learning and minimise disruption
· Support the pupil in accessing the full curriculum, adapting resources and activities as needed
· Monitor, record, and report on progress, contributing to ongoing assessment and planning
· Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure a consistent approach
· Foster a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment that promotes confidence, engagement, and independence

· Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, SENCO, and families
· Professional, patient, and resilient, with a genuine commitment to supporting children with SEMH needs
· Available to start immediately
