Are you a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with experience supporting young children? Do you want to work in a primary setting where every child is supported individually and their development is prioritised?
Clarus Education is recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a busy primary school in Lewisham, supporting Nursery to Year 2. This is a long-term, full-time role, available for an immediate start, working closely with small groups of 6–8 children. The role involves providing personal care and targeted learning support for children with additional needs, ensuring they thrive in a nurturing environment.
In this SEN teaching Assistant role, you will:
· Support a small group of 6–8 children across Nursery to Year 2
· Provide personal care and support with daily routines where required
· Assist in delivering learning activities and interventions tailored to each child’s needs
· Support children’s social, emotional, and communication development
· Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and other support staff
· Contribute to planning, monitoring, and recording progress for each child
· Help create an inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environment
