Are you an inspiring and dedicated English Teacher looking to make a lasting impact on students’ learning and achievement? Our Academy in Havering is seeking a passionate qualified English Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team on a permanent, full-time basis from after the Easter holidays.

About the Role

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and a love of literature
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupils’ progress to ensure every student achieves their potential
  • Contribute to departmental planning, enrichment activities, and whole-school initiatives

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching English at secondary level
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for English language and literature
  • Is committed to raising aspirations and achieving excellent academic outcomes
  • Brings enthusiasm, resilience, and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning
