Are you an inspiring and dedicated English Teacher looking to make a lasting impact on students’ learning and achievement? Our Academy in Havering is seeking a passionate qualified English Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team on a permanent, full-time basis from after the Easter holidays.
About the Role
- Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and a love of literature
- Assess, monitor, and track pupils’ progress to ensure every student achieves their potential
- Contribute to departmental planning, enrichment activities, and whole-school initiatives
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching English at secondary level
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for English language and literature
- Is committed to raising aspirations and achieving excellent academic outcomes
- Brings enthusiasm, resilience, and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning
