Are you a strong and resilient Year 2 Teacher looking for a rewarding new role this academic year?

A welcoming and well-resourced Primary School in Islington is seeking a confident and committed Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent post from September 2026.

The Role

  • Teaching a vibrant and enthusiastic Year 2 class with the support of a skilled TA
  • Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Ensuring pupils make excellent academic and personal progress ahead of KS2
  • Working closely with colleagues and senior leaders to maintain high standards across the school

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Primary Teacher with QTS (UK or equivalent)
  • Confident managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Strong, reliable, and resilient – able to handle challenges with a calm, proactive attitude
  • Able to commit fully for the remainder of the academic year
