We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Special Resource Provision Teacher to join our inclusive and welcoming mainstream primary school in Bexley from April 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-established Special Resource Provision, supporting pupils with additional needs and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

 

This Special Resource Provision Teacher role involves teaching small classes of 6–8 pupils, ensuring learning is highly personalised, carefully scaffolded, and responsive to individual needs. You will work closely with experienced support staff and collaborate with colleagues across the Resource Provision and the wider school to promote inclusive practice.

 

The successful Special Resource Provision Teacher will be responsible for:

·         Planning and delivering personalised learning programmes tailored to pupils with EHCPs

·         Creating a nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment

·         Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, families, and external professionals

·         Contributing to inclusive practice and SEND provision across the school

·         Monitoring progress and adapting provision to meet academic, social, and emotional needs

As a Special Resource Provision Teacher, you will have:

·         Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

·         Experience teaching in KS1 or KS2 (essential)

·         A strong understanding of SEND and inclusive pedagogy

·         The ability to plan creatively and adapt teaching for diverse learners

·         Excellent communication and teamwork skills
