Are you passionate about giving young children the best possible start to their education? We’re working with a welcoming infant school in Lewisham who are looking for a caring, enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team on a part-time basis.

You’ll play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and helping children aged 3–5 to develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with EYFS experience—or a strong interest in early childhood education—who thrives in a nurturing, hands-on environment.

What the school can offer:

  • A warm, inclusive community where every child is valued.
  • Supportive staff who work collaboratively across the EYFS team.
  • Ongoing professional development and training.
  • A creative, play-based curriculum that encourages independence and imagination.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience supporting children in EYFS or Nursery settings.
  • Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification (or be working towards one).
  • Be proactive, patient, and committed to supporting each child’s individual learning journey.
  • Be available immediately and able to commit to part-time hours, Monday to Friday.

If you’re an engaging, enthusiastic Early Years practitioner who loves helping children flourish, we’d love to hear from you!
