About the role

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our successful and supportive science department at a secondary school in the London Borough of Newham. This is a full-time, permanent position, available for an ASAP or April 2026 start.

The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality science education and committed to securing excellent outcomes for all pupils. The Science Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, contribute to curriculum development, and support students of all abilities to make strong progress.


About you

We are looking for a Science Teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has completed ECT/NQT induction, or is currently completing teacher training and seeking an ECT post from September 2026
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a commitment to evidence-informed teaching
  • Can inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for science
  • Is committed to inclusive practice and high expectations for all students
