KS1 Specialist Teacher – Permanent (ASAP Start)

We are pleased to be recruiting a KS1 Specialist Teacher to join our three-form entry primary school in Bexley on a permanent basis, starting as soon as possible.

Our school is a vibrant, inclusive learning community where children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work within a strong and supportive Key Stage 1 team, alongside experienced colleagues and a committed leadership team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

• Teach within Key Stage 1, delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum
• Create a positive, nurturing, and well-structured classroom environment
• Support pupils’ early development in reading, writing, and mathematics
• Work collaboratively with year-group colleagues and support staff
• Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)- Essential
• Has strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective classroom practice
• Has high expectations for pupil progress, behaviour, and wellbeing
• Is enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to ongoing professional development
• Works well as part of a team and values collaboration
